Nebraska baby-boomers are reaching the age of retirement leaving voids in jobs and all businesses. Well-paying jobs with strong benefits will encourage Nebraskans to get back to work as well as attract new families to the State.
Our small businesses were abandoned when the health department mandated closings but didn't provide support or relief from lost income due to the mandate. This needs to be corrected to keep small business up and running and demonstrate to new businesses that Nebraska supports the people who invest in the State.
I want to bring in processing factories to make clothing and textiles from hemp. I want farmers to have another commodity to grow to be able to have a higher cash crop. Both of these projects would encourage more people to Nebraska.
